I just wanted to point out that this blog is powered by BlogEngine.net, which isn't actually at http://www.blogengine.net/, but is at http://www.dotnetblogengine.net.  BlogEngine.net is a wicked tight, full featured blogging platform started by this guy.  If you have room in your brain, go through his blog and read every post because most of it is full source to unobtrusive, light, clean c# code that you can drop into practically any project.  Really good stuff.

Anyway, so far, on the two blogs that I have stood up with BlogEngine.net have been working very well, so I highly recommend it.

Yes, I have given wordpress a go, and its really cool. And, I would say that wordpress even has more features then blogengine. But, the reasons I prefer blogengine are, but not limited to, its written in .net, its very simple, easy to extend, and extremely easy to install.

Wordpress has a zillions pros, too, but it was just a personal preference at the time.

I am using it on my website, just hacked a previous extension to make it work like I want. If I ever get the time to learn C#, I hope to build some of my own from scratch!

Cheers,
